The Gathering Project: January 25th, 2014

I'm so happy to announce that a new creative force has emerged in our fair DC area and they are called The Gathering Project. TGP was founded by Jill Roy and Chelsea Rose Moore. They founded the project to bring people together to eat, make, and fellowship. They are hosting a day-long retreat in Washington, DC on January 25th chock-full of awesome workshops offered by stellar creatives in our area. From their Eventbrite page:

"Jill Roy and Chelsea Rose Moore both live in Northern Virginia and have a passion for making beautiful things, enjoying good food, and meeting other creatives. Although they met while working at their day jobs, they discovered the other's artistic interests, and knew a collaboration was not far off. Thus was birthed the Gathering Project - designed to be a place where you can share in Jill and Chelsea's creative vision, meet like-minded people, and come away with ideas for infusing your winter with warmth."

At the retreat, you will have the opportunity to learn about styling a winter table with Rebecca Gallop of A Daily Something, making seasonal drinks with Rebekah Pizana, making winter wreaths with Amy Showalter and Hope Helmuth, as well as taking part in a tutorial on signage art and design with Erik Landstrom

This retreat is brimming with good food, good company and amazing talent, all in one beautifully designed space at The Loft at 600 F.

Tickets are available now on their Eventbrite page. Also, don't forget to keep up to date with The Gathering Project on Facebook. This wintry workshop is not one to be missed!
